John joined the staff of AutismETC in December, 2017. He has 10 years of experience working for an autism organization in Memphis, Tennessee. His roles have included serving as Executive Assistant, Director of Finance, and Director of Development. John co-founded the Mid-South Autism Conference which was the largest autism event in the Mid-South region. He is the father of two special needs children and this has given him a passion to help families raising a child who is differently-abled. With a BS degree from Lee University, John has also worked as a medical office manager and educator. He works remotely from his home in Memphis and commutes to Nashville for meetings and events. He is also a skilled pianist, songwriter and arranger, and is the music director for a church in Memphis.
